Welcome To Jazzy Gems!
We are a mother-daughter team and we started creating jewelry designs years ago. We had a free afternoon without my son and we decided to take a class on making jewelry. We were hooked at that very moment. We had created jewelry designs and began successfully selling our pieces. We had developed a website and hosting home parties and we had a blast. Jasmine had even been asked to design and sell for Archbishop Hoban High School. She is also the proud recipient of the Guardian Life Insurance Latino Entrepreneual Award, she came in 3rd place in the nation for her business venture. We have also grown to love handmade lampwork beads. We are now dabbling in creating our own lampwork beads. They have been a wonderful success in our store and since then the Glass Candy Shoppe has been born. You can find our one-of-a-kind lampwork beads in our store.
Several years ago, we started thinking about opening a bead store. We loved being surrounded by beads so much and our kitchen had turned into a beaders paradise. We do not have many bead stores in our area, and I always found myself traveling quite a distance just to get a "bead fix". We didn't really like ordering from the web, due to anxiously waiting seven to ten days for our package only to be disappointed because they didn't look like the picture. So after many days of discussing, wishing and dreaming ~ Jazzy Gems Bead Shoppe was born.
After visiting many stores, Jazzy and I had a very clear picture of what we wanted Jazzy Gems to be. We want Jazzy Gems to be an exciting and fun experience not just another bead store. We hope that you will come away with a passion or just a tingling of excitement for creativity. Our motto... "just have fun with it". Sit back with family and friends and create great, fun memories and a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry as a bonus!
Jasmine attended Baldwin Wallace College majoring in Business and Jewelry Design for two years and is now attending Kent State University. We are very excited for her and can't wait for her to share all of the new techniques she will learn in school.
