It is the start of a new year and we have so many events and shows planned.
The Bead-a-Thon will begin Wednesday, February 1, 2012 and we are bringing back an old classic to kick it off... The Hidden Treasures Bracelet!! But now imagine your Hidden Treasures with beautifully coordinated palettes called "Inspirations",below is a sample of what's coming to Jazzy Gems!
Also, in April we will be hosting our SPRING BEAD SHOP HOP! This was such a wonderful event and we are very excited for the spring hop. Over 90 beaders participated in our first hop and we received rave reviews. We will be adding another bead shop and more time to complete your hop. Watch your emails for more details.
CHARITY EVENTS AND NEWS!
As many of you already know, my mom along with her sister have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Interestingly enough I have always been a strong advocate and participator in breast cancer awareness research and fundraisers. With no direct connection and never having known anyone personally with the disease, I still felt strongly and I always wanted to do my part. I have participated in many walks throughout the years in Akron and Cleveland for the cause. Watching my mom and her sister go through this very difficult and challenging time of chemotherapy, countless doctor appts., and radiation has been very inspiring. They are truly the strongest women I know. So now it's my turn to challenge myself... so Jasmine and I will be participating in the Susan G. Komen 3 Day Challenge in August. We would love your help with sponsoring us. We need to raise $4600.00 in order to participate. I will be providing a link for any donations so please check back and again watch your emails.

STORY OF HOPE
Jazzy Gems and Akron Children's Hospital are launching a wonderful new project called Story of Hope. We will be looking for volunteers for events and also bead donations.
